The Sound presents Gluepot Reunion 2013

Concerts & Events 03/09/2013
Brent Eccles Entertainment, The Sound & The Sunday Star Times are proud to present the Gluepot Reunion 2013 - The Rare Attractions Unite!
Last year saw the first ever Gluepot Reunion, which was held at The Powerstation, hundreds came out of the woodwork to sell out 2 nights. It was so much fun it returns for 2013... Friday November 1, The Powerstation will become The Gluepot for the night with The Gluepot SuperGroup*, The Exponents & Hello Sailor gracing the stage.
The last time Sailor played Auckland was at last year’s Gluepot reunion. Since then everyone has had to deal with the loss of Dave McArtney - founding Sailor member, so this gig is bound to be special. Says Sailor co-founder Harry Lyon; “We’re are still coming to terms with losing Dave, but he was a trooper and we know he’d want us to carry on. Rather than having to think about replacing though, we’ve got some extra special guest guitar players with us for the gig.”
Dave Dobbyn, a gentleman who needs no introduction, has been confirmed to join Hello Sailor on guitar for their Gluepot Reunion shows at The Powerstation,  Auckland in November. Harry Lyon, founder Hello Sailor member said today that as well as Dave Dobbyn, his son Johnny Lyon  and Dave McArtney’s Sydney based nephew Tim will play guitar and sing with the band, filling the enormous  gap left by Dave McArtney.  “We are still coming to terms with the loss of Dave but rapt to have DD and the boys on board. We know he would want us to carry on and would love these guys being our guests.”
The Exponents are back with new found vigor! Their line-up for this gig is the classic Jordan Luck, Brian Jones, David Gent, Michael “Harry” Harallambi & Bryan Bell in itself a rare attraction.
Barry Jenkin, or Doctor Rock who may be NZ’s most listened to Rock DJ, once commanding 53% of the radio audience - that alone is a rare attraction.
The Gluepot Supergroup is made up of a stage bitten, gritty, gnarly, beautiful bunch being...
Male Vocals: Hammond Gamble, Larry Morris, Rick Bryant, Neil Edwards

Band: Saxophone - Walter Bianco, Keyboards, Peter Wood, Drums - Dennis Ryan Bass, Alex Griffiths, Guitar- Grant Ryan
