George Thorogood talks about what he loves about New Zealand
Last week it was announced that George Thorogood and The Destroyers would join Alanis Morissette and Colin Hay at Summer Concert Tour in NZ next year.
George joined Nik and Leah to chat about returning to New Zealand in January next year for three shows in Taupo, Queenstown and Whitianga.
Their last visit to NZ was 7 years ago and he remembers our country being 'really pleasant'.
The weather is really pleasant and I don't see many snakes down there.
He also mentions that they didn't think they'd be coming back to NZ.
"We haven't been there for so long. It was always very plesant, when we came in 1981 when we started and it's been quite a while. We didn't think we'd get any offers and didn't think we'd be coming back again."
