Bill Nighy stars in this delightful comedy as Alan, a man who pines for his son, Michael who walked out into the night after a heated game of Scrabble and who has not been heard from again. Yet Alan fixates on Michael's return, much to the chagrin of his other son, Peter. But when fresh evidence on the whereabouts of Michael leads to a road trip for Alan and Peter, it allows them to reflect on and work to repair their relationship.
