Bruce Springsteen breaks own record for longest show twice in one week

Music 27/08/2016
The Bruce Springsteen fans who went to one of his shows definitely got their money’s worth.

A US news company reports that Springsteen played for a whopping three hours and 52 minutes at one show at the start of the week, breaking his personal record for longest US performance — and coming close to his all-time record of four hours and six minutes, set during a 2012 concert in Finland.

And then the band came back and broke that record they set just a couple days later, performing for a whole four hours.

Billboard notes that at that show, The Boss performed less songs but the show included lots of special moments including appearances from guitarist Tom Morello, guest vocals from a three-year-old fan, a marriage proposal, and the presence of Springsteen’s mother Adele in the audience.
