The Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards are tonight - This afternoons 415 forty five is a NZ single dating back to 1984 from an act who's frontman, the first to be inducted into the NZ Music Hall Of Fame 9 years ago has taken home more than a few AWARDS over the years - at The 1984 NZ Music Awards The Dance Exponents won "Top Group" and "Album of the Year" for PRAYERS BE ANSWERED - frontman Jordan Luck also took away "top male vocalist"

Tonight Jordan Luck's latest lineup THE JORDON LUCK BAND are nominated for BEST ROCK ALBUM for their debut "Not Only But Also"

This afternoon's on The Sound as part of the pending 2016 Award celebrations The 415 forty five has the first single The Dance Exponents released following the huge success of their award winning debut album.

Compared to the songs off "Prayers Be Answered" this track marked some what of a change in the bands musical direction.... A move some of the band members did not agree with None the less the single made it as high as No 39 on the NZ Singles Charts late in 1984 The songs inspired by how the lush South Canterbury countryside looks from the air
