Former AC/DC frontman, Brian Johnson was involved in a race car crash over the weekend.
He was qualifying for the Celebrity Challenge Trophy race at the Silverstone Classic.
The crash meant he was unable to start the official race, which included 30 drivers in classic Austin A30s and A35s facing off on a 3.66-mile Grand Prix circuit course for charity.
Fortunately he walked away unharmed.
Celebrities were split into five teams, and each was mentored by a well-known race driver. Those who qualified had the opportunity to compete for a charity prize, with proceeds benefiting Prostate Cancer U.K. The Silverstone Classic is known as the world’s biggest classic-car racing festival
Johnson has been a car enthusiast for mant years and believed that his hearing problems were related to a mishap on the track.
Johnson left AC/DC last year due to his hearing problems.
