Watch U2's new Trump-mocking video for 'Get Out Of Your Own Way'

U2 have released the video for their new song 'Get Out Of Your Own Way' taking aim at Donald Trump.

The song appears on their 14th studio album 'Songs of Experience', released in December 2017.

The animated clip has two scenes that point at Trump.

As a rainbow appears across the screen, a marching line of Klansmen are shown holding torches. Trump is then shown pulling the curtains open in the Oval Office, revealing the line of Klansmen marching past his window – a scene that is later repeated as Trump is shown signing documents at his desk.

Broken Fingaz Crew, who directed the video, said the clip “addresses the current political situation”.

“The song is both a personal letter and a clarion cry to the global situation, and in the same way, we’ve combined our psychedelic pop style with political imagery; shot entirely analogue, using paper cut and stop motion animation techniques.”
