Led Zeppelin has started teasing fans with photos of the highly anticipated illustrated 50th-anniversary book since its announcement seven months ago.
Yesterday, they shared a photo of the book cover via Twitter with the caption "Testing the gold foil blocking and cloth for the cover of Led Zeppelin by Led Zeppelin."
Two weeks earlier, they shared a production test of a handful of rare photographs from the book.
Going back earlier to Led Zeppelin's post last month, the band posted a photo of Jimmy Page's handwritten annotations, a work in progress for the anniversary book.
Led Zeppelin by Led Zeppelin is the first and only official illustrated book to be produced in collaboration with the members of the band.
It celebrates 50 years since Led Zeppelin's formation, covering the band's "unparalleled musical career" and features many rare photographs offstage and during recording sessions. The 368-page book promises to include never-seen-before photos and artwork from the band's archives as well as contributions from photographers globally.
