After 36 long years, Sir Macca has returned to the number one spot on the Billboard 200 with his latest solo LP, "Egypt Station".
The album has sold over 153,000 copies in its debut week. In addition to his achievements with The Beatles, Sir Macca has set the record for having eight Number One Albums, the highest number to date, as a solo artist and a Wings member.
It was reported that "Egypt Station" marks McCartney's first album to debut at Number One. It also marks the first album to top the charts since his 1982 album, "Tug of War".
