WATCH: Queen shares a new movie teaser about portraying Freddie

In a new video, Rami Malek, who portrays Freddie Mercury in the upcoming Queen biopic, "Bohemian Rhapsody", has shared new details about how he transformed into Freddie Mercury.

The short clip featured new scenes from the film as well as behind-the-scenes and interviews. You can watch the full video above.

An accompanying description reads, "Freddie defied stereotypes and shattered convention to become one of the most beloved entertainers on the planet. The film traces the meteoric rise of the band through their iconic songs and revolutionary sound. They reach unparalleled success, but in an unexpected turn Freddie, surrounded by darker influences, shuns Queen in pursuit of his solo career. In the video, Malek talked about how the producer called him to come down to Los Angeles to audition for the Freddie Mercury role.

"When you set out to play Freddie Mercury, you think 'How am I going to fill these shoes?'. It's an immense responsibility but one that I was very eager to take on," says Malek.

He added that he had top choreographers come in to help him, but he realised he needed a movement coach instead.
