Elton John's latest project has him starring in an advert for a UK department store, and it really pulls at the heart-strings.
Featuring his classic 'Your Song', the commercial takes us on a tour through Elton's life and career while he plays the piano, the same one he was given on a Christmas morning back in the 1950s.
UK department stores are known for their increasingly moving Christmas adverts, with the stores trying to out do each other every year.
John Lewis, the department store responsible for the Elton John commercial, reportedly sifted through more than 300 scripts before settling on this one. The total cost to produce the advert came to around $14 million NZD, with Elton receiving a six-figure paycheck.
Some have commented that the commercial is a great advertisment for Elton's current 'Farewell Yellow Brick Road' tour, which he is currently on the US leg for, as well as his upcoming "fantasy bio-pic" 'Rocketman, due out in May 2019.
