Over 20,000 Elton John tickets went on public sale yesterday for his second Auckland gig. Almost all tickets have been sold out.
Each customer is limited to four tickets rather than the usual six.
Originally, John announced three shows across the country in Auckland, Dunedin and Hawkes Bay. Since then, two additional shows were added - an Auckland show and another at Mission Estate Winery in Hawke's Bay.
The first run of tickets for the shows sold out quicker than lightning after presale began at 9am on February 12.
Tickets to all three shows are also currently available on notorious scalper website, Viagogo, which was recently in trouble with New Zealand's Commerce Commission.
Please be careful when purchasing concert tickets and always aim to buy from the main organisers and ticket sellers.
