Months after many speculations around a potential new AC/DC album, longtime engineer for the band, Mike Fraser has confirmed that the band is "doing something" in the studio.
Photographs of various band members appearing in the vicinity of Warehouse Studios in Vancouver were circulating online. The studio was the same one that they have used for past recordings.
In a recent interview with Mastering Music Mastering Life, Fraser says, "Well, yeah, I could say that we’ve been in the studio doing something. What’s come of that I can’t discuss yet." When asked if Johnson was on vocals, he laughed and replied, "I think so".
In this band lineup, Angus Young has included singer Brian Johnson and drummer Phill Rudd along with Cliff Williams on bass. Angus' nephew Stevie was thought to be replacing his late uncle, Malcolm, as he had since 2016.
