Eric Clapton has announced that he'll be performing 3 gigs on America's West Coast late this year.
Slowhand will be starting his first show at San Francisco on 11th September, heading to Las Vegas on the 13th and ending with a show in Phoenix on the 14th.
Clapton's band lineup will include longtime colleagues, guitarist Doyle Bramhall II, Paul Carrack and Chris Stainton on percussions, Nathan East on bass and drummer Steve Gadd. Backing singers include Sharon White and Katie Kissoon.
Later that month on the 20th and 21st, Clapton's Crossroads Guitar Festival will take place at American Airlines Center in Dallas. It's the fifth iteration of Clapton's event since the very first one in 2004. This year, the lineup includes ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons, Eagles' Joe Walsh, Peter Frampton, Jeff Beck, Bonnie Raitt, Gary Clar Jr. and more.
The legendary Slowhand will be headlining both nights, of course.
