It's finally the month of May! Just another few weeks and all of us will be hitting the nearest cinema to catch 'Rocketman', the highly anticipated Elton John biopic film.
Directed by the same director as 'Bohemian' Rhapsody', expectations are very high for this film, after the soaring success from Queen's biopic film.
Just recently, an official music video of Taron Egerton singing 'Rocketman' has just been released. He portrays young Elton John in the film.
Watch the video below.
"It was so important that the music I composed and recorded had to be sung by Taron," Elton John expressed in a press release. "I wanted his interpretation of me, through Bernie’s lyrics and my music -- not just acting."
"I left Taron in the hands of Giles Martin, who I trusted implicitly because he's brilliant,” John explained. “I didn't want to be in Taron's shadows, watching over the process, I trusted them to do what they needed to do, artistically, and listening back I've been astonished with the results. Getting the music right was the most important thing, as the songs in the film are integral to the story."
'Rocketman: Music From The Motion Picture' is due to be released on 24th May, just days before the movie is released in cinemas. The album will also include a brand new track, '(I'm Gonna) Love Me Again', a John and Egerton duet. See the full tracklist below.
