AC/DC releases rare 1979 'The Jack' performance to celebrate 'Highway to Hell' LP's 40th anniversary

AC/DC has been back on the radar for some time now with plentiful of rumours to keep fans on edge. Yesterday, the band released a 1979 performance of 'The Jack' to celebrate the 40th anniversary for their highly acclaimed 'Highway to Hell' LP.

Recorded at Rijnhal in Arnhem, Netherlands on 13th July 1979, the video was originally broadcasted on dutch television programme, 'Countdown'. The footage was courtesy of 'Reelin' in the Years Productions', a popular YouTube channel that bought over the rights to over 3,000 hours from the program three years ago.

Two other performances from the same concert, 'Highway to Hell' and Whole Lotta Rosie', were also featured on the 'Plug Me In' box set that included three DVDs of live performances. 'Highway to Hell' was uploaded last week, you can watch the video below. 'Whole Lotta Rosie' arrives on the 31st of July.
