Bruce Springsteen is edging closer to an EGOT: With his Netflix special Springsteen on Broadway Emmy-nominated for an Outstanding Variety Special, Springsteen could add the Emmy award to a table that already includes an Oscar, a Tony and a host of Grammys.
It all started in 1985 where Bruce took "Best Male Rock Vocal Performance" for "Dancing in the Dark" at the Grammy's.
Bruce then managed to win an Oscar Award for "Best Original Song" at the 66th Academy Awards.
That could have easily been the end of it, but Bruce also conquered Broadway winning himself a Tony award.
Now that Bruce has got the GOT, all he needs is the E, unfortunately for Bruce, the category that he is nominated in is stacked this year with Beyonce's Homecoming Netflix Concert Special, to Paul McCartney and James Corden's carpool Karaoke.
If Bruce wins, he will join a small group of fifteen individuals that have won all four awards in competitive categories.
