Pollstar has released a new report of the Top 100 global highest-earning touring acts of 2019.

Sitting at the Number One spot is Sir Elton John, who reaped $123.1 million NZD with 56 shows across 42 cities. 

We broke down the top 10 highest earning bands in the list below (apart from Elton John).

  1. Metallica ($103.9 million NZD, overall rank: No. 4)
  2. Fleetwood Mac ($100.9 million NZD, overall rank: No. 5)
  3. KISS ($86.6 million NZD, overall rank: No. 7)
  4. Trans-Siberian Orchestra ($57.3 million, overall rank: No. 8)
  5. Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band ($52.8 million, overall rank: No. 7)
  6. Paul McCartney ($40.7 million, overall rank: No. 16)
  7. Phil Collins ($45.6 million NZD, overall rank: No. 22)
  8. Billy Joel ($42 million NZD, overall rank: No. 24)
  9. Eagles ($36 million NZD, overall rank: No. 28)
