The two former Beatles bandmates, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr reunited on stage once again over the weekend when Starr appeared at Sir Macca's U.S tour finale.

McCartney was just starting his encore at Los Angeles' Dodger Stadium when he announced that something special is about to happen. Starr then appeared on stage, greeting the crowd with "Peace and love, everybody," before moving towards his drum kit while Sir Macca shouts "I love you, man" to him.

The drummer played on the reprise part of 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' and 'Helter Skelter'. He then threw his drumsticks into the audience and pretended to do the same with McCartney's bass. As he walks off the stage, McCartney led the crowd into a chant of "peace and love", Starr's signature message.

Next up was Eagles' Joe Walsh (also Starr's brother-in-law) who came on stage to perform 'The End' from 'Abbey Road' with McCartney.

McCartney ended his show saying, "With a successful tour behind him, he told the crowd: "Farewell to you guys. Farewell to America. Only one thing left to be said: we'll see you next time."
