Woodstock 50 tickets will now be free of charge, according to the festival's newly acquired venue's operator, Seth Hurwitz.
As reported by Pitchfork, representatives of Merriweather Post Pavilion's Hurwitz confirmed that the festival will be ticket-free. In an email, he said that they were still waiting to hear back on the official festival lineup, but ensured that artists will have a venue to play if they decided to stick with Woodstock 50.
TMZ reports that Woodstock organisers will be releasing gratis tickets to the festival soon but there's a catch! There's always a catch...
The event is now billed as a benefit concert where attendees are encouraged to donate to charity. To whom's charity, we're not sure.
