Watch 13/09/2019

Roger Waters participated in a pro-Julian Assange rally earlier this month at the Home Office in London.

Waters was protesting against the imprisonment and extradition of the Wikileaks founder. He performed the classic Pink Floyd song, 'Wish You Were Here' on an acoustic guitar.

Watch the protest performance below.

"How do we put ourselves in the position of a Julian Assange in solitary confinement," he asked the crowd, "or with that kid in Syria or Palestine or Rohingya, being blown to bits by these people in this building here?"

Watch his speech below.

Assange is currently imprisoned at a HM Prison Belmarsh in London while he waits for his full extradition hearing due in February 2020.
