Gene Simmons of Kiss is undergoing kidney stones surgery

News 02/10/2019

Recently, Kiss was forced to end their most recent tour leg. According to TMZ, Gene Simmons was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Hospital yesterday for a kidney stone procedure

TMZ explained that Simmons had a stent inserted in a non-invasive, hour-long procedure which is designed to help him expel kidney stones autonomously. The report also says that the stent will be removed with remaining kidney stones by the end of the week.

Last month, Simmons broke the news of Kiss' postponed gigs due to his medical procedure and assured fans that it was "nothing serious" but required to be attended to sooner rather than later.

Simmons had once overcome an identical battle in 2009 and put his kidney stones up for auction which was sold for $15,000 and donated to charity.

Kiss is due to visit Auckland this 3rd of December for a one-show-only at Spark Arena.
