Kiss to perform nautical concert for great white sharks (and humans) off an Australian coast

Concert 04/10/2019

Currently on their End of the Road tour, Kiss has just revealed a special concert for a very unusual audience... Great white sharks!

The band will be performing a benefit gig on a boat in the middle of the Indian Ocean just off the southern coast of Australia.

Kiss and their human fans will set sail from Australia's Port Lincoln this 18th November on The Shark Warrior, a glass-bottom boat that allows passengers to view the sharks beneath them. It would be a two and a half hours ride to reach the natural habitat of the sharks before Kiss plays their show.

Host Matt Waller has been using music as an alternative bait, as sharks are reportedly attracted to low frequencies. He will be providing commentary about what passengers will see throughout the two and a half hour concert cruise.

Watch the trailer to the Great White Shark concert below.

Complete with breakfast, lunch, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages, tickets will go on sale on 14th of October. All proceeds will go to Australian Marine Conservation Society, who works to protect "critical ocean ecosystems with marine reserves around the nation, including Ningaloo and the Great Barrier Reef," as well as to end such practices as whaling and shark finning."
