Suzi Quatro and Halestorm vocalist and guitarist Lzzy Hale are to be honoured at the 2020 She Rocks Awards early next year.
Taking place at Anaheim’s House Of Blues on January 17 during the NAMM Show, the 8th annual event is being organised by the Women's International Music Network.
The event pays tribute to women who display leadership and stand out within the music industry, with previous recipients including Pat Benatar, The B-52s, Orianthi and Melissa Etheridge.
These women go above and beyond in their respective corners of our industry and are perfect examples of why we are proud to celebrate women in music
Other women who will be recognised on the night are Grammy award-winner Gloria Gaynor, singer and songwriter Beatie Wolfe, D’Addario Foundation executive director Suzanne D’Addario Brouder, founder of Guitar Girl Magazine Tara Low and former music professor Myrna Sislen.
PRS Guitars' marketing director Judy Schaefer, founder and president of Gender Amplified Inc, and Atlantic Records audio engineer and producer Ebonie Smith and former 4 Non Blondes vocalist Linda Perry will also be honoured.
"We’re ready to kick off 2020 in a big way and our upcoming honourees are an exciting part of that," says Women's International Music Network's Laura B Whitmore.
