It has been confirmed that Sir Macca will be headlining next year's Glastonbury festival in England!
Initially, Paul McCartney teased fans with a visual pun of Philip Glass, Emma Stone and Chuck Berry.
If you have yet to figure out the visual pun, just read the three last names together. It's a no brainer but just in case you didn't catch it...
Later, Sir Macca and the music festival organisers confirmed the good news via Instagram. The festival will run from 24th June till 28th June in 2020.
"Hey Glasto – excited to be part of your Anniversary celebrations. See ya next summer!" says McCartney.
Glastonbury will also be celebrating their 50th anniversary next year. Festival co-organiser, Emily Eavis said, "IT’S REAL!! So excited. Having Paul McCartney coming back to headline the Pyramid next year is an absolute dream come true. There really was no one that we wanted more for the 50th anniversary."
McCartney was the second artist to be announced after Diana Ross. He also headlined the same festival in 2004. Elton John and The Kinks are rumoured to be playing at Glastonbury but have yet to be confirmed or denied by the festival organisers.
