Billy Joel's Long Island home in New York was reportedly broken into over the weekend, leaving dozens of his beloved motorcycles vandalised.
Nassau County Police Department explains that the burglary took place sometime between Saturday and Monday. They explained that the burglars entered the house by smashing the glass door leading into the garage. The extent of the damage has yet to be revealed.
For the past decade, the Piano Man has run 20th Century Cycles, a motorcycle gallery dedicated to preserving and maintaining vintage wheels, and updating them with modern technology to create "rideable, practical machines with a nod toward the past."
20th Century Cycles also built a custom motorcycle for the Boss, Bruce Springsteen, back in 2013. However, it broke down three years later while Springsteen was taking part of Veteran's Day ride and Joel offered an apology onstage, "It's all over the national news: 'Bruce's Bike Breaks Down. So I'm reading this, and I'm thinking, 'Oh shit, I hope it wasn't the bike I built for him.' It was, but the Boss held no grudges."
Over the same weekend, Jon Bon Jovi joined Joel on stage to perform two songs together. Watch it here.
