Rush's music sales soared over 2,000% since Neil Peart's death

Rush's music catalogue sales have grown by 2,304% in the aftermath of drummer Neil Peart's death.

According to Nielsen Music/MRC Data, the number of streams of Rush's music soared over 776% in the United States.

When news of the drummer's death was reported on 10th Jan, the audio and video streams of the band's catalogue has increased to a combined 24.54 million (It was only 2.8 million from Jan 6-9).

In terms of sales, Billboard reports that the band sold over 19,000 compared to the usual 1,000 and album sales increased by 1,820%.
