Sir Elton John's promoter has released a statement to Kiwi fans revealing that Elton will play his final two NZ shows in Auckland this week.
However, his 18th Feb concert at Mt Smart Stadium as been moved to the 19th, giving John an extra day to recover.
"I’m looking forward to seeing you on Wednesday and Thursday evenings at Mt Smart Stadium," he says.
"Elton John was disappointed and deeply upset at having to end his Auckland concert early last night," the concert promoter said in a statement. "He is resting today, and Doctors are confident he will recover.
Sir Elton was forced to cut his Sunday night show at Mt Smart Stadium earlier due to his voice giving out mid performance. He admitted he had been diagnosed with walking pnuemonia earlier that day.

During the concert, he was forced to stop after playing Someone Saved My Life Tonight, to be checked by a medic as he sat at his black Yamaha grand piano on stage.
He returned to the performance but conceded: "I don't know how much longer I can sing, I just don't have anything left."
John played 16 songs from a 25-strong set list and performed for nearly two hours before bowing out to a standing ovation.
