British rock bands, The Who and Yes (led by Steve Howe) have both brought their tours to a halt due to the concerns of the rapid spread of CONVID-19 virus.

The Who were due to embark on an 11-date tour in UK and Ireland between 16th Mar - 8th Apr. The band have announced that they will reschedule their trek for later this year and all tickets will remain valid.

"After serious considering, it is with much regret that the Who have postponed their UK and Ireland tour," says the band. "The fans' safety is paramount, and given the developing coronavirus situation, the band felt that they had no option but to postpone the shows."

Prog-rock band, Yes, was scheduled for a number of US shows along with Alan Parsons Live Project. Howe explained that the viral issue at hand has "reached the point where various factors require us to cancel our forthcoming U.S. dates and cancel our appearances on the 7th 'Cruise To The Edge."

He also said that it is impossible to predict the future, but the band looks forward to playing in the future.
