The Hollies announces first full U.S. tour in 18 years

Tour 04/03/2020

The Hollies announced a full-scale American tour in over 18 years.

"We are very excited to bring our The Road Is Long tour to the U.S.A. and play for all the fans who have waited so long to see us back in America," drummer Bobby Elliott said in a statement. "The show will include all of our greatest hits, and we cannot wait to get back on the road Stateside."

The 13-day tour will kick off on 8th July in California, and the band will wrap it up in Boston on 26th July.

For the full ticketing information, you can visit the band's website. Full tour dates can be seen below.

"We have very fond memories of our tours in the U.S. and how much the country means to us as a band. We look forward to seeing you all very soon," says guitarist and singer Tony Hicks.

Currently, Elliot and Hicks are the only original members of the band. Bassist Ray Stiles, keyboardist Ian Parker, lead singer and guitarist Peter Howarth and guitarist Steve Lauri had recently joined the band's lineup.

Known for their pop-rock hits like 'Bus Stop', 'He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother', 'Just One Look', and 'On a Carousel', the band had released over 20 studio albums including the most recent 2009 record, 'Then Now, Always'.

The Hollies were inducted into the Rock Hall by E Street Band guitarist, Steven Van Zandt in 2010.
