The Class of 2020 of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame won't get to be inducted for another extra seven months due to the ongoing world crisis.
The event was supposed to take place on 2nd May, but it has now been postponed to 7th November, later this year.
"We are very disappointed to announce the postponement of this year's Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony," Rock & Roll Hall of Fame President Joel Peresman said at the time. "Our first concern is to the health and safety of our attendees and artists, and we are complying to the direction of the local and state authorities and common sense."
The ceremony will take place at Cleveland's Public Auditorium at 8 PM ET and will be broadcasted on HBO. Event details have yet to be shared with the public.
This year, the Doobie Brothers, T-Rex, Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode, Whitney Houston and Notorious B.I.G. will be inducted into the Rock Hall of Fame.
This year's event will also mark the first time the ceremony will be live-streamed instead of edited and released a few weeks later.
