Bruce Springsteen used as reference for New Jersey people during coronavirus pandemic

American rocker, Bruce Springsteen is unknowingly helping to protect the people of New Jersey from coronavirus during these trying times.

New Jersey residents are being asked to keep "one Springsteen" apart as part of an effort to help citizens adhere social distancing guidelines. The state wrote on Twitter, "REMINDER: Keep AT LEAST one Springsteen of space between yourself and others."

They also shared a picture guideline to show what "one Springsteen apart" is.

Some keen-eyed fans pointed out that the Boss is actually only 5'10', about 300 meters short.

"Actually, despite his obvious greatness, Springsteen is significantly less than six feet tall," a netizen said.

"5'10" is a Jersey 6'10"," someone else defended. "I know my people."

Bruce Springsteen himself was born in New Jersey's Long Branch in 1949. The 70-year-old named his debut album, Greetings From Ashbury Park, N.J.
