The controversial "fan pod" concert went ahead last night in Arkansas, becoming the first live music event with an audience since the coronavirus lockdown rules were put into force.
Country-rock singer, Travis McCready, played a show at TempleLive theatre in Fort Smith in front of an audience of 229 (instead of 1,100).
To ensure social distancing is maintained, the venue created "fan pods" where groups of two to 13 can enjoy the show together while the seats surrounding them were cordoned off.
The venue had placed a one-way system throughout the premises and reduced the capacity in restrooms. Face masks were mandatory for attendees, and their temperatures had to be checked before allowed entry.
