Bruce Springsteen unveils Philadelphia 1999 live album

New 09/07/2020

The Boss and the E Street Band has dropped a new live album featuring their 25th September 1999 concert at First Union Center in Philadelphia.

The legendary concert was only available in various bootleg versions for the past two decades, and now, fans can finally enjoy the concert with pristine sound (and legally) as part of Bruce Springsteen's monthly concert download series.

Springsteen turned 50 years old during one of the off-days and throughout the six-night stand at South Philadelphia Sports Complex, he and the band had performed rare songs like 'The Fever', 'Blinded by the Light' and 'Does This Bus Stop at 82nd Street?'.

On 25th September, he opened the show with 'Incident on 57th Street', taken from 'The Wild, The Innocent and the E Street Shuffle'. It marked the first time he played that tune live since 1980. Plus, they also performed outstanding tracks like 'New York City Serenade' and 'Jungleland'. See the full setlist below.

The live album is now available to purchase via his website here.
