Queen's Brian May joins Generation Axe on a 'Bohemian Rhapsody' jam

Brian May has teamed up with a variety of guitarists for a virtual jam session to play the iconic Queen song, 'Bohemian Rhapsody'.

The performance featured Generation Axe's Nuno Betterncourt, Steve Vai, Zakk Wylde, Animals As Leaders' Tosin Abasi and Yngwie Malmsteen for a AXS TV special called 'At Home and Social with Nuno Bettencourt & Friends'.

The show aims to raise funds for the Music Forward Foundation's Crew Nation initiative that supports touring and venue crews who are currently suffering due to the coronavirus lockdown.

Heart's Nancy Wilson and Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins and made appearances on the show.

"Until us performers can get back home to our stage, on August 3, with a little imagination and lots of passion, our homes will become our stage," Bettencourt said in the intro. "I hope we all have homeowners insurance because we're blowing the roof off the place."
