The Kinks has announced that they're celebrating the 50th anniversary of their 1970 album 'Lola' with a new box set.
Titled, Lola Versus Powerman and the Moneygoround, Part One, the collection features the original LP, remastered from the original master tapes, B-sides, alternate mixes, outtakes and instrumental and acoustic version of the songs. Previously unreleased demos, session and live tape audios as well as a spoken-word commentary from Ray and Dave Davies will also be included in the box set.
The box set will also include a 60-page hardback book containing notes, band quotes, rare photos and memorabilia that chronicles the creation of the iconic album.
