Guitarist Steve Lukather and singer Joseph Williams have announced a brand new line-up of Toto AND a new online concert in November.
The new line-up marks the 15th change in the band's 43-year career, features bassist John Pierce (Huey and The News), Robert Searight (Ghost-Note/Snarky Puppy), keyboardist/background vocalist Steve Maggiora (Elvis, Moms Mabely). The band also includes existing members keyboardist Dominique Taplin (Prince/Ghost-Note), and multi-instrumentalist/vocalist Warren Ham (Ringo Starr) will continue their tenure in the lineup with Lukather and Williams.
"At this moment, Joe and I are the only long-tenured members of the band that want to be on the road continuing to bring music to our multi-generational fan base," Lukather explained. "I've spent almost four and a half decades of my life as the only original member who never missed a show or an album nurturing this legacy while enabling the music to continually exist in the live concert setting."
On 21st November, the new Toto will make their global debut for an online livestream gig that will be broadcasted during prime time in three regions - New Zealand, Australia, Asia, Europe and North America.
