Ozzy Osbourne's wife and manager, Sharon, has tested positive for coronavirus.
Sharon, who served as a co-host on CBS daytime talk show, The Talk, has shared the news via Instagram, quickly pointing out that her husband has tested negative so far. She also noted that the couple is staying away from each other while she recuperates at a hospital.
Sharon was the key to Ozzy's rebooted career after he was fired from Black Sabbath in 1979. Against most expectations, the Prince of Darkness became a successful solo star, with commercial fortunes eclipsing those of his ex-bandmates. The couple married in 1982 and have three children.
The family then found crossover fame when they were a part of MTV reality show, 'The Osbournes' in 2002. Ozzy led a successful second career with TV programs, radio shows and movie appearances.
In one of the recent episodes of Ozzy's show on SiriusXM called 'Ozzy's Boneyard', Osbourne has implored fans to take the virus seriously. "Please, don't be dumb school and go to one of them stupid COVID fucking parties," he said. "That's for fucking fools because it is real, it isn't a conspiracy, and it will kill your ass."
