An '80s-themed virtual event called 'Radical Sabbatical' is happening this 31st January where musicians are taking audiences back to the 1980s.

Kicking off at 7am on Sunday (NZ Time), the event will be a fun-filled day complete with performances and informative segments.

Sebastian Bach will be hosting a 'Vinyl Wino' session during the day as he pairs his favourite wines with matching music. Kenny Loggins, Bret Michaels, Ray Parker Jr. and Lita Ford are lined up for musical performances.

The event will also include Mixology Madness, cooking, and Aerobics. The event will also feature a Q&A session with an '80s photographer, author Mark Weiss. Songwriters Jim Peterik (Survivor) and Cathy Richardson (Jefferson Starship) will be doing a storytelling session.

Passes for the eight-hour event starts at $138.77 NZD with a variety of bundle packages including one that gives you the wine choices Sebastian Bach selected, and another that gives you a video call with Bach himself.
