A young man just hit the jackpot of music memorabilia after he inherited items that once belonged to the legends Elton John and Queen.
In a video uploaded to YouTube, Christian Clark, 25, explained he came across nine boxes and a bunch of posters belonging to his late grandfather Dane Clark, who passed away in 2006 at the age of 59.
Dane was a hairdresser, wardrobe guru, and a buddy to the music icons back in the '70s and '80s.
Christian gave a show and tell of the huge selection of signed photos from Elton, Kiki Dee, and one vinyl record signed by every member of Queen.
Clothing and itineraries from tours, as well as, photos and posters, were also a part of the findings.
A pair of red suspenders have particularly high value as they were actually worn by ‘The Rocket Man’ himself.
“I have stage-worn Elton John suspenders from the ‘Rock of the Westies’ tour in 1975,” Christian revealed holding the piece up on a coat hanger.
Naturally, people are dying to know how Dane got his start with these legendary artists.
In a follow-up video, Christian explained: “[Dane] got a call at the end of 1973 from a guy named ‘Breck Wall’ who got Dane an interview for the position of Elton John’s hairdresser and wardrobe keep.”
Dane was on a flight the very next day and stayed with them at Elton’s mansion in Beverly Hills.
Dane then went on to tour with Elton John in 1974, opening the door to work with Queen during the band's very first U.S. tour.
Christian is only just getting started in sharing his late Grandfather’s collection, and we will be eagerly waiting for any more videos digging out this golden memorabilia.
