Missed out on last week's news in the rock music world? Heather's got you covered. Watch the video below on who won what at the Grammys 2020, Aerosmith's MusiCares' Person of the Year Award acceptance speech, and also Mick Jagger's new acting role.
Last weekend, Aerosmith performed a two-song set at the Grammys 2020, kicking off with 'Livin' on the Edge', the song that earned the band a Grammy Award at in 1994. Halfway through the song, singer Steven Tyler made his way through the crowd and at one point, he grabbed rapper Lizzo to join him on the chorus, just before the band performed 'Walk This Way' next alongside rap group, Run-DMC. Although both groups delivered the best performance they could, the performance was briefly off-sync due to "sound issues" that the Grammys were notorious for.
Aerosmith were also honoured as the 2020 MusiCares Person of the Year award. Just last week, it was revealed that drummer Joey Kramer had a slight lawsuit situation with Aerosmith as he was not allowed to participate in any of the performances at the Grammys. However, he shared the podium with his bandmates, and was given the opportunity to show his love and gratitude. Watch the video above to hear his very thankful speech.
In other news, Mick Jagger has taken up a new acting role in a brand new film titled, The Burnt Orange Heresy. Watch the full trailer to the film below.
