Joe Perry's solo album has been coming together for a few months now.
Recently, a song leaked from the album revealing Terry Reid on the track 'I'll Do Happiness'. Terry Reid was once wanted in Led Zeppelin by Jimmy Page.
In a recent interview with Rolling Stone magazine, Joe Perry revealed that Iggy Pop visited the studio after a show in the US. Iggy Pop listened to a few of the recorded songs and “Within a couple hours, he had finished [recording] everything, and that was really the turning point for the record,” Perry said.
Perry has been working on the upcoming album, which doesn’t have a title or release date yet, as he waits to join the Hollywood Vampires on tour.
