In the late 60s, a plan was hatched to form a new band that would use strings, horns and woodwind to give their music a classical sound to take rock music in the direction to "pick up where The Beatles left off".
The result... Electric Light Orchestra.
And in 2019, Jeff Lynne will take the Orchestra on tour in the States for the first time in 35 years. Jeff Lynne’s E.L.O. touches down in a particularly windy city on 27th July and you could be there with Air New Zealand's non-stop flights to Chicago.
Whenever you hear an E.L.O. tune, you have 15 minutes to text 'ELO' and your details to 339 to be in to win the ultimate trip for two to see Jeff Lynne's E.L.O. LIVE in Chicago.
Cheers to our mates at Air New Zealand. For more details about their non-stop flights to Chicago, visit their website here.
