Woodsie spoke with Def Leppard’s Phil Collen, Celebrating the band’s four-decade-long journey in the music industry.

Speaking of their new album ‘Diamond Star Halos.’, Phil said "We've done everything for the new album at home... on my laptop, and it created a different energy." He describes the process as liberating, with the digital space allowing for a seamless exchange of ideas between him in California and the band's lead singer, Joe Elliott, in Dublin.

The album pays tribute to the glam rock era that inspired the band, with Phil reminiscing, "Diamond Star Halos is a phrase... used to describe the era that we got in the music." He fondly recalls how this era, featuring icons like David Bowie and T-Rex, impacted their lives and inadvertently influenced the thematic direction of their latest work. This nostalgia is intertwined with the anticipation for their upcoming tour with rock giants Motley Crue, Poison, and Joan Jett.
