U2 spotted paying tribute to kiwi roadie Greg Carroll at Auckland's One Tree Hill

The band has touched down in New Zealand and the first place they visited is One Tree Hill.

Ahead of their two Auckland shows this week, U2 bandmates were spotted at Auckland's One Tree Hill earlier today to pay tribute to their former roadie and close friend, Greg Carroll. Read about his story here.

U2's 1987 song, 'One Tree Hill', was written by Bono in Carroll's memory on The Joshua Tree album. We can't wait to hear them perform the song.

The band will be playing at Mt Smart Stadium this Friday and Saturday. See the full details here.
